Assam Halmari TGFBOP. This Assam loose leaf black tea comes from a plantation situated in the district of Dibrugarh on the north bank of the Brahmaputra river which has been producing very fine, aromatic orthodox and CTC teas for many years.

Assam is well know worldwide for its strong and malty black teas.It has over 700 tea estates and thousands more smaller gardens that together, make it the worlds largest tea growing area.

This particular Assam is a medium strength. The liquor when brewed is a golden colour with mixed aromatic notes. A little spicy, a little malty and even some notes of bread dough.
