Lapsang Souchong

Lapsang Souchong is a tea unlike any other.

Lapsang Souchong has a flavour which is very aromatic, and the tea itself has a pronounced smokiness to it, often referred to as the aroma of dried plums or cigars.

This tea compliments sweet food amazingly.

Rumour has it that this tea came about by accident due to the tea being kept too close to the pine bonfires which kept the tea travellers warm on the cold nights that they spent getting this tea from Asia to Northern Europe.

This journey would have taken months and months on foot with the help of their pack animals.
