Vietnam Tung Ting Oolong - It's Tea


Our Vietnam Tung Ting is produced near the city of Bao in the Lam Dong province of the highlands of Southern Vietnam. This region is known in the tea world for it’s excellent green Oolong varieties which are produced using ancient Taiwanese methods.

First freshly picked tea leaves are laid out on cloth and sun dried under the open sky. Then, the leaves are rolled in cylindrical bamboo baskets till they are “bruised” which causes the leaves to oxidise. After reaching the desired level of oxidisation, and finally the tea is dried using low temperatures.

The mighty rolled leaves produce a glowing green cup which has a flowery scent. This tea is light and captivating with its flowery, sweet flavour.It has a slight dry finish as well, and remains delicious after several infusions.
