Yunnan Flowery Orange Pekoe

Yunnan Flowery Orange Pekoe is a classic and a wonderful example of a Chinese black tea.

Tea has been cultivated in the Yunnan province of China for around 1,700 years. However green teas were the preference until fairly recently. Nowadays they also produce some absolutely wonderful black teas too!

Yunnan Flowery Orange Pekoe could be compared to an Assam because of the strength, what sets it apart is the nuances … expect to taste a sweetness with some earthy and woody notes. This is a medium strength tea with a unique character.
