Kenya Pearls of Africa is a peaberry coffee. Peaberry coffees are slow growing and somewhat rare, considered a rarity and specialty in the world of coffee. The peaberry beans grow slowly, this means they are not often produced. The slow growth causes the bean to have more lipids and there for a natural sweetness, as well as being incredibly aromatic. You can see are smaller in size than your usual coffee bean and have a distinctive round shape.
