February 5, 2024As the UK embraces the chill of winter, there's nothing quite like a hot cup of coffee to warm you up. Coffee is more than just a morning energiser or a way to beat the mid-afternoon slump – it comes with its own set of cosy benefits that make it an even more appealing choice during the colder months.
A Heart-warming Brew
Coffee is a comforting companion on cold days. Whether you're starting your morning or need a warm-up after a brisk walk, its natural warmth is a welcoming embrace.
Mental Boost
On those dark winter mornings, coffee can be the perfect pick-me-up to get your day started with a clearer head and a more focused mindset.
Metabolism Kick-Start
Feeling a bit sluggish? A cup of coffee can give your metabolism a gentle nudge, helping you feel more energised and ready to tackle the day.
Mood Lifter
The simple ritual of brewing and sipping coffee can be a real mood lifter, offering a moment of solace and a break from the winter blues.
Our Winter Coffee Picks
Looking to spice up your coffee routine this winter? Here are our choice of three to try for this season:
Caramelised Chestnut Coffee
Caramelised Chestnut coffee is a fairly new flavoured coffee in our selection and already it is popular. Combining the smoothness of medium roast South American coffee beans with nuts and a hint of sweetness it is an indulgent treat.
Nuts and coffee are always a good combination and the sweet caramelised side of things makes this a great way to gently satisfy sweet cravings.
Maragogype Espresso
Maragogype Espresso is made with only the best Maragogype beans from Mexico, Guatemala and Nicaragua. They have been expertly combined to create an exceptional blend. These beans yield a full and creamy espresso with a slightly spicy character.
Maragogype beans are notoriously difficult to roast as they are slightly porous, therefore, only the best expert roasters are up to the job. They also grow slowly and ripen at different rates so are considered a specialty bean not grown by many farmers.
Hazelnut and Cinnamon Coffee
Hazelnut and Cinnamon Coffee combines the flavours of the perfectly roasted beans. The South American coffee beans are arabica and have been expertly roasted to a medium level, allowing the addition of other flavours to shine alongside them.
The spicy, slightly sweet cinnamon is rounded off nicely with the nutty delights of hazelnuts. Both cinnamon and hazelnut are popular in tandem with coffee and here you can enjoy all three together. The final cup is smooth and indulgent.
Coffee is more than just a beverage; it's a winter staple that brings warmth, energy, and comfort to your daily routine.
